HOUSE RULES OF THE ZOOM CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
Dear visitors, welcome to the ZOOM Children's Museum!In order to create a pleasant atmosphere, we ask you to observe the rules listed below during your visit. These house rules are aimed at all persons who are in the indoor and outdoor areas of ZOOM Children's Museum. By purchasing an admission ticket, visitors accept the house rules:
1. ZOOM Children's Museum values respectful interaction with one another. The dignity of all children and adults on the premises must be respected. The equal treatment and diversity of our employees and visitors is a top priority for us. Discrimination on the basis of age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, social or regional origin, or ethnic, national or religious affiliation will not be tolerated.
2. All areas and programmes of ZOOM Children's Museum are subject to the following rules:
Limited numbers of participants and fixed starting times.
As the programmes and workshops of the Children's Museum are specially designed for different age groups and developmental stages, we consider the age specifications for the programmes of the areas to be binding.
3. Teachers, supervisors and legal guardians are liable for their children or for the children entrusted to them. By purchasing an admission ticket, visitors recognise that, as accompanying persons, they are not released from their duty of supervision and are liable for any damage that may result from a failure to do so.
4. Filming and photography at ZOOM Children's Museum: The Children's Museum is a safe space for its underage visitors. This requires all visitors to use smartphones sensitively and to be careful when taking photos and filming. Only the photography and filming of one's own children is expressly permitted and only for private purposes. Sound and image recordings of other children and staff are prohibited. Filming and photography is prohibited in all ZOOM areas during the welcome and leaving phases.
5. Free lockable lockers are available for your wardrobe and bags. The Children's Museum accepts no liability for items deposited in the cloakroom. Lost property will be deposited at the cash desk.
6. Sustainability, ecology, considerate use of resources and socio-political responsibility have a high priority at ZOOM Children's Museum, both in terms of education and organisation. The Children's Museum has been awarded the “Austrian Ecolabel”. We would like to explicitly draw your attention to the possibilities of waste separation at ZOOM.
7. Smoking is prohibited in ZOOM Children's Museum.
8. No animals may be taken into the Children's Museum.
9. Eating and drinking is prohibited in the exhibition and workshop areas. Private parties are not allowed on the premises of the Children's Museum.
10. For safety reasons, the use of scooters, skateboards, mini scooters, inline skates and the like is prohibited in the entire museum area.
11. It is not permitted to carry objects that pose a danger to other persons and/or exhibited objects.
12. ZOOM Children’s Museum reserves the right to exclude the following persons from visiting the museum: persons who violate the house rules; persons whose behaviour disrupts the operation of the museum; persons who are afflicted with a notifiable illness; persons who carry weapons (according to the Weapons Act) or dangerous objects.
13. The instructions of the museum staff must be followed without exception.
