With the aid of unique media technology, children in teams can create their own animated film. They’ll invent characters and plots, create sounds and combine the analogue and digital worlds, in the process using and enhancing their social and creative skills. All of the animated films and sounds that have been produced by the children during their visits are digitally archived in the ZOOM Collection.

In the ZOOM Animated ZOOMinar workshop series kids learn how to make animated films with the help of an app. Experienced artists of ZOOM Animated Film Studio virtually visit the kids at home and support them. The kids can work alone or together with family or friends. The ZOOM team assist the kids step by step in the filmmaking process, starting at the treasure-hunt for ideas up to the finished animated film. Each month focus on a different topic.
